Curious Korean Products

So, how do they do this? Shrink wrap? Grown in the plastic? What? Someone tell me.

Don't Asians grow their produce in bags, boxes, and containers? I've seen their square watermelons (much easier to ship!) Something grown from the earth without ever touching it--interesting.

I think Katy is right. Notice the tiny holes in the plastic down at the bottom. That let's the air out as the zucchini fills up the bag.

My vote is for them growing it in the bag - I'm sure I heard that somewhere while I was there.
