It's OK. Just glue the price to my head...

I hadn't found any mannequins lately until I happened upon these two priceless beauties!

It's So Easy Seeing Green

I took these photos in Pyeongtaek from our bus. I was overcome with the green that is so lacking in Seoul--beautiful green rice paddies everywhere. Can you breathe in green? They certainly brought life to this soul!

Look Who Just Flew In!

Elder K called me in the bedroom to see this amazing Korean Beauty. I wish you could have seen her fly off, showing all her winged loveliness in the sun. I hope for another visit.

Happy Birthday, Katy!

Katy is blessed. With all her gifts as a wife, for mothering, creating a home, making music or making anything for that matter, God gave her the gift of faith. She never lets all the other gifts over shadow this most important gift. Even when she was small she believed. She believes in Jesus Christ. And she is using that gift to help her children see faith, to see what faith creates in their home.
Happy birthday, my quiet middle child. A happy day in celebration of you, your example, your faith. I love you.

Outdoor Classic!

So, Ashley and Ann, do you remember when we climbed behind Y mountain during the hottest time of the day and my face got all swollen and red? No NorthFace for me I tell you, this is my brand from now on!

Happy Birthday, Brendon!

Dear Brendon,
She came home that night and said I met the most amazing man at the MTC. I hope he calls. So you called and she said yes to your date request despite the fact she all ready had a date. She knew she had met someone quite remarkable and didn't want you to slip away. And the I watched the spirit take over like magic. She worried because she talked so much on that first date because you asked her questions about her mission, her passions, her dreams. You listened. She found out about you and how much you love this country and Slovenia but most important that you put God first. You said things to her the every woman wants to hear and you meant every word. And you still do. You do not boast nor bring attention to yourself. How many dishes did you do on Sunday? How many times have I caught you folding the wash when we skyped? Thank you for entering in our life and our hearts. Your tender love and strength in facing the challenging news of Mary Deane's CF gives me courage to move forward with faith and hope in God's plan for us. How blessed she is to have you as her father. And how blessed is Ann and Mary Deane to have you forever! Happy birthday. I love you!

I Spy

I spy Mr. Kim, our fruit man from our apartment window. I also spy Green Bus #1. One day Kurt and I are just going to jump on that bus and see where it goes.

Temptation

Today we did something really bad--we bought cherries at Costco for W16,000. I just grabbed them and put them in our cart. It was one of those days that I just needed to buy cherries, no matter what the cost. After all, it is the 4th of July this week and how can you celebrate without cherries?

I also had some plums in the fridge and decided to make a plum and cherry crostata. The other bad thing is I made it at 10 o'clock at night. Yeah, I know.

Even at 10 pm this is pretty hard to resist.
