Andy

For most of our children this is the grandfather they remember on my side of the family. He had a great influence on all of us. One Sunday I was driving past mother's house they were both sitting at the kitchen table eating alone. It broke my heart so from that day on they came to dinner at our house every Sunday. When Andy couldn't walk down stairs anymore Jacob and Ben and Kurt would lift him down the stairs outside. I was so glad to see this little act of service every Sunday. His family was so kind to mother and treated her with great respect and love. I wonder what is going on up there with all these husbands that loved mother so much. I certainly would like a peek!
