Happy Birthday, Lark!

This photo was taken in 1971 at a reunion at Lynn's house in Albuquerque. I don't know who the Swedish maiden is in the background but this is a tribute to my sister Lark.
If you want to have fun just sit around with Lark and that is all you have to do. She used to get me organized for school when I went to Wasatch. She would make me scrub my pencil holder (and my zorries--that is what we called flip flops) and make sure I had all my school equipment. I would never have survived without her. She essentially raised me. But that did not keep her from playing tricks on me (I believed everything) or challenging me to get the mail in my slip. (I thought that was daring and now I go around the house with nothing on at all.) I love her so much and feel like the luckiest sister in the world to have Lark as my own. Happy birthday!

But do you get the mail with "nothing on at all"? That is such a great picture. Three beautiful women.
