On our way home from English class in Hwagok we got some of this produce--truly a rare food bargain in Seoul. We accidentally left it on the subway but luckily it is one of those routes that goes back and forth. So we waited and after the third train---voila! Our precious produce!
To be loved for what one is, is the greatest exception. The great majority love in another only what they lend him, their own selves, their version of him. Goethe

Our garlic, cucumbers and potatoes were all still sitting in our grey bag on the rack above our seats!
I was going to ask if that was Hwagok station and then I saw that it was. That's my subway stop and I totally recognized that pile of garlic.
We just bought garlic, cucumbers and potatoes today too!
