This is the check out lady--they are all dressed in E-Mart outfits.
I was intrigued with the lady in front of me and her big plastic covered squid or Kurt thinks it may be cuttle fish.
Our purchases represent a very poor American diet: refined white flour, refined white sugar, brown sugar, Oreos (Well, we just had to try them because they were peanut butter and chocolate cream Oreos).
WalMart tried to establish itself in Korea but it didn't last. Instead, there is E-Mart. This grocery store is right by our subway stop and is so entertaining with more samples than Costco!

I love shopping with my companion at E-Mart. You put a 100Won coin into the cart to unhook it from the rest of the carts.(that way you will return it to it's proper spot and retrieve your coin)
