Happy Birthday, Craig!
I don't think there is a living son in law on earth that would happily let his in laws camp out with him for eight months. Do you? I mean really, eight months? I will forever be grateful for his gracious and giving heart. He is always wanting to help, comfort, bandage, feed and entertain anyone that walks through his doors. I love you, Craig. Happy Birthday! You are fantastic. And no, I won't stop it.

Happy Birthday, Father of Cohen!
There is nothing like the joy of having children. And then there is nothing like the joy of watching your own children have children. It is Ben's birthday today. He's our baby, the biggest of our babies. And what an amazing father he is. I have seen a new side to him that I really like. It was always there, that nurturing, gooing, being silly, hanging a baby upside down, tickling side. He just needed Cohen here to do it. Kurt said it best on our Monday night celebration of his birth, he is engaged. His heart is right where it should be, with Olivia and Cohen! Oh man. Nothing better than that to make a mother happy. I love you, you cute father, Ben! Happy day.
I totally stole these images from Olivia's blog. Thanks O!

Happy Birthday, Mother!
Mary Deane, front row right.
She would be 91 today.
Wonder what she is doing.
Perhaps in charge of heavenly wardrobes.

Oh Happy Day, Olivia!
I am still amazed at the birth of Cohen, your concentration, control, love, patience, sacrifice and desire to do it just right! You have always had all those qualities so I shouldn't be at all surprised!
Thanks for joining our family and adding to our numbers.
Hope it is a happy day and filled with love!
Because I sure you!

Only Sixteen Years Without Him
This morning, as I held him tight, I told him I have only had 16 years without him. And 16 years is way too many. This is what he looked like then. Can you blame me for falling in love with that, bell bottoms and all?
Happy birthday, tootsie!

Testimony for Pearl!
Pearl's baptism was yesterday. She was nervous and excited! Afterwords she said she felt good and warm. Nothing better than that feeling--good and warm! She has opened the door to return to her Heavenly Father. To celebrate, I made a Book of Mormon cover with my testimony inside to make sure she always knows I believe. And to remind her we will always be, the two of us!

Ready
| A Prayer in Spring | |
| Robert Frost (1915) | |
| Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day; And give us not to think so far away As the uncertain harvest; keep us here All simply in the springing of the year. Oh, give us pleasure in the orchard white, Like nothing else by day, like ghosts by night; And make us happy in the happy bees, The swarm dilating round the perfect trees. And make us happy in the darting bird That suddenly above the bees is heard, The meteor that thrusts in with needle bill, And off a blossom in mid air stands still. For this is love and nothing else is love, The which it is reserved for God above To sanctify to what far ends He will, But which it only needs that we fulfil. |
