Little Things
I came home on Thursday from a long day at school. Earlier that morning I asked Kurt if he thought Meredith Viera (Today Show Host) is older than I. He said no. I was shocked because I was sure that she was so he went into the computer to find out how old she is and discovered she is TWO YEARS OLDER! A great drama ensued with me pretending I was deeply hurt. When I walked in the bedroom, this:
was on my pillow. And underneath the covers a BIG box with a yummy new robe and slippers. (I was looking pretty bad in the mornings.) We kissed and pretended to make up. But I think what I love the most is the little things he does, like putting flowers by my computer almost everyday and saying I look nice when I'm not! Love you hawney!

B.H. Roberts and My Father
This is a photo of my father and all the missionaries in his mission in the eastern states. His mission president was B.H. Roberts. He had a huge influence on my father his whole life and when we were going through mother's books he had a whole collection of Robert's books. My father is in the middle, next to Sister Roberts. Why did all the women back then look so stern. It must have been a difficult life. The missionaries back then went without purse or script. They were dependent upon others, and not necessarily other Mormons for their food and lodging.
